The event brings four leading voices of contemporary Moldovan literature in dialogue with Jörg Plath

Beschreibung

“No More Borders” introduces a dynamic group of Moldovan authors whose voices are increasingly visible on the European literary map: Iulian Ciocan, Dumitru Crudu, Lorina Bălteanu, and Emilian Galaicu-Păun. Their works traverse political histories, personal geographies, and the shifting identity of a region suspended between East and West.

In conversation with moderator Jörg Plath, they will discuss the new directions in Moldovan writing, the permeability of borders - linguistic, cultural, and mental—and the ways in which literature from a small country can speak with a strong, unmistakable European voice. The panel offers a rare opportunity to encounter authors who are not only redefining Moldovan literature but also contributing to the broader transformation of contemporary European storytelling
