About us

Klingenberg is a young, independent publishing house based in Graz, Austria, focusing on contemporary literature in German and other languages, selected non-fiction books, and bilingual poetry collections. We publish books that view literature as a space for freedom, creativity, critical reflection, and confident humor—all with a distinctly international perspective.

We pay particular attention to works that are idiosyncratic, original, and socially relevant—texts that surprise, invite reflection, and do not merely follow trends that, at best, are worth reflecting on.
