About us
The publishing group W1 was founded by Jan Weitendorf von Hacht. Its publishers include Atrium and Arche, as well as Arctis, Atrium Kinderbuch, WooW Books and von Hacht in the children's and young adult book sector. The publishers are located in an old brick building on the banks of the Goldbekkanal, right in the heart of Hamburg.
W1 is also represented in the USA, where it has the publishers WestWind Scouting, Arctis USA and NorthSouth Books.
