About us
The publishing house, founded in Schwerin in 1990 and based in Ribnitz-Damgarten, is an established player in the publishing landscape of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and has been part of the Verlagsgruppe grünes herz® since 2002. Today the publishing program includes around 100 titles and offers a wide range of insights into the country's nature and culture.
An outstanding success is the popular geology series by qualified geologist Rolf Reinicke. The series on natural products is also established. The range also includes high-quality illustrated books and the well-known bibliophile series.
Since 2019, the program has been specifically expanded to include Low German children's books. The award-winning children's book "Mäh! Maa! Möh!" (Fritz Reuter Literature Prize 2019) marked the start. Further Low German translations followed, such as the famous fairy tale "Von denn Fischer un siene Fru" and Sven Nordqvist's "Pettersson kricht Wihnachtsbeäuk". In addition, regional holiday and adventure stories for children have been published since 2025.
