The friendship between Paul Celan and the young Romanian poet Petru Solomon, during the 1950s, is an almost unknown chapter in Celan's biography. It is due to Petre Solomon's book that we can learn about Celan's short existence in Bucharest -1945 -1947 - his work as a publisher and translator, his friendships and writing. At the Leipzig Book Fair, Edition Noack &Block is launching the German translation of Solomon's memoir volume: Paul Celan. Die rumänische Dimension.
